He giggled madly, rolling over to his side of the bed. Daniel watched as Darren's sides moved sporadically, rolled his eyes at the lung filling gasps that he would give before collapsing again. A few times, Darren tried to say something, but couldn't get it past his bout of laughter that wasn't ceasing its control of his mind. He looked at Daniel, forcing his mouth shut for a moment to try to seem slightly more serious, but just the act of meeting his gaze would push him off the edge again.
Daniel shook his head at the wriggling form beside him, opting to try to ignore him. He stared at the glittery spackle on the ceiling, engrossed with how the light reflected off the twinkly bits like little stars. He was finally thinking that he would make it through the ordeal when he felt something poke his ribs. He ignored it, until it came again none too gentle. He jumped slightly at the force, squawking and rolling quickly to a safe distance as the room was filled with Darren's cackling once again.
Daniel raised an eyebrow as Darren tried to keep his eyes from tearing up as he grabbed at his sides. A quick glance at the clock only assured Daniel of what he feared, in that his partner had been going on solid for half an hour, not yet a record, but promising to last for a slightly lengthy amount of time.
"'Ey Darren, Dazza...Boppy Boo...How long you think this is going to last?"
Darren couldn't answer with any recognizable response, just snickers and more giggles bubbling up from the amused form. Somewhere in his mind, Daniel half debated the idea of taping this for the future generations of Hayes fans who would die for anything dealing with his personal life, but decided against it, it was just too embarrassing. That, and the fact that in all reality, Daniel was at fault for the whole ordeal, but he'd never admit it.
"Alright, Cheeky Monkey, time to settle down and give me a break already!"
Darren sat up for a moment, cocking his head to the side in a questioning look before busting up again, throwing a pillow in Daniel's general direction. Dan groaned at the increasing amount of hahaha's instead of hehehe's, which in his mind were much safer. You could tell if he was planning something, or if he was just out of his mind by the sounds of his laughs. He was slipping out of the high-pitched giggles, into the more dangerous gaffas that tended to last longer than what he wanted.
"I am going to ignore you now! Yes, ignoring, now...Right now...oh Lord..."
Darren had shifted onto his hands and knees, his head bowed down onto the sheets. The bed itself was doing a good job of absorbing most of the little bounces and heaves that were being inflicted. He rolled over again, kicking his feet around like his tantrums he so often pulled to get out of having to do things. Still, the laugh lived on as he increased his force slightly, stripping off the blankets.
Daniel was almost sure that his sides should have hurt by this time, but by the same token, the incident happened a lot. He wouldn't call it a daily occurrence, but very close to becoming so unless some action were taken to settle the demanding little diva out of his fits.
By this time, Darren had given up on trying not to cry because he was shaking too badly. He rolled around on the mattress, leaving it in complete disarray. Daniel pressed his lips together as he watched the singer coming closer and closer to the edge of the bed with each pass. He shut his eyes tightly as it finally happened, the loud thump meeting his ears as Darren fell off the bed to the carpet below.
He heard a loud gasp as Darren fought to get his breath back after the fall knocked it from him. Thanking God that it had finally ended, he crawled onto the bed and over to the side so he could look down at the body that hadn't moved from where it had fallen. Poking his head over the side, he visibly slumped as the demon took over again, chuckles erupting into the silence once more.
Daniel sighed as Darren wriggled around for a bit, resting his hands on his chest. Finding him becoming boring again, Dan threw a pillow down at him, only to hear another strong bout begin.
"You are horrible, you know that?! It's almost been an hour now...How long do you think this is going to carry on?"
Daniel kneeled on the bed, his hands on his hips, at which Darren just shook his head and laughed louder. He finally understood that he was getting absolutely no where, and threw his hands in the air before climbing off the bed. He took one last glance at the giggler before venturing into the bathroom.
Even behind the door, he could hear the laughing that was becoming increasingly more annoying as time went on. On a whim, he checked out the counter top, what contents had been stored there before an evil look came over his expression. It was time to turn desperate before he completely lost his mind...
"Oh Darren...I have something for you...Wanna come and see? I'm sure you'll like it..."
Dan watched from around the edge of the wall as Darren struggled to get up from the floor, leaning heavily on the bed before he could walk decently. Coming around the corner, he was suddenly startled by a wave of ice water as it washed over him, drenching him completely. He stood there silently, taking a quick stock before turning his burning gaze at Daniel.
"What the hell was that for!?!?!"
"Stopped you from giggling, didn't it?"
Darren stuck out his tongue as he folded his arms in a huff.
"That wasn't fair, Daniel!"
"No, but I'm about to do something worse..."
"Like what?"
"Like that is the last time we do any 'bedroom antics' until you can get these damned 'after-sex-giggles' under control!"
